Cost scales with the model tier and the length of your conversation — a short Haiku reply costs a handful of credits, while a long 32K-token Opus request costs more. Free-tier models cost 0 credits. Typical short chats range from 1–5 credits per message on budget/standard models and 10–30 on premium.
Do unused credits roll over?+
Yes. On monthly billing: Starter rolls over 20% of unused credits, Pro 40%, and Business 60%. Yearly subscribers get a bigger bonus — Starter 30%, Pro 50%, and Business 75%. Rollover credits stack on top of your normal monthly allowance so light months compound into heavier ones.
What happens after my trial?+
The 3-day trial ends and your account drops into a paywalled state — your history is preserved but you cannot chat until you subscribe to Starter, Pro, or Business.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?+
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you get fresh credits. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
What if I hit the daily premium cap?+
Your premium model access pauses for the rest of the UTC day. You can still use budget and standard models. The cap resets at midnight UTC. This keeps our pricing predictable for everyone.

Longer conversations cost us more per request. Tiered context windows (8K / 32K / 128K) let us offer flat predictable prices instead of per-token metering.
